My new husband %26amp; I will be visiting his mother over Valentine%26#39;s weekend. I need to get out of the cold.

We%26#39;ll be there for 2 full days %26amp; 1/2 days on the Friday %26amp; Monday we%26#39;ll be traveling. I%26#39;d like to treat her to some things she may enjoy.

I love zoos so that%26#39;s a must for me on one of the days. I saw something about a downtown area %26amp; a River Brewing Co. DH will love that.

I%26#39;d like to take a least a walk on the beach; it probably won%26#39;t be warm enough for a beach day but I%26#39;ll keep my fingers crossed.

MIL is young, vibrant %26amp; loves art. I see a few museums on the things to do. What%26#39;s your favorite?

Any other suggestions would be welcome.

The Museum of Modern Art has, well, modern art.

The Cummer Museum of Art has everything except modern art.

Why limit yourselsves? Go to both.

The view of the downtown area is nice during the day and especially pretty at night with all the lights. The River City Brewing Company is in a good location for the view. Make a reservation and ask for a table with a view. 904 398-2299

For a walk on the beach, suggest you go to the end of Atlantic Blvd. There is a cluster of restaurants and shops right there. Ragtime is very popular and The food is always good. 904 241-7877
