How much busier over the weekend?

We are planning a trip to Disney split up with a few days at the beach. We arrive in Orlando on Thursday and are trying to decide if we should do Orlando and the parks first or head to the beach first. We would prefer to do the beach at the end of the trip but that puts us at the parks over the weekend. So I%26#39;m wondering just how much busier it is over the weekends versus a Monday/Tuesday. If it is a dramatic difference that will be enough to just deal with not getting the relaxing part at the end.

How much busier over the weekend?

It depends when you go. If it%26#39;s during Food %26amp; Wine Festival for example, Epcot gets ridiculously busy during the weekends, but the rest of the parks stay relatively quiet.

If you%26#39;re going over say, MLK day which is coming up, then the weekend is busier than the days because you%26#39;ll have more locals doing a long weekend.

However, just on a normal weekend, there might be a slight increase, but it might be 5 more minutes spent in a line, nothing significant.
