Apparently there is an Events Shuttle running to the Pier from both the Amici%26#39;s lot and the Anastasia Baptist Church for New Year%26#39;s Eve.
There are also many Public Parking (free)locations on A1A marked with green signs: A Street beach side, Jack%26#39;s BBQ (A St), Cafe Atlantico (3rd St), on both sides of the Castillo Real Hotel (9th %26amp; 10th St), Cafe 11 (11th St), Sunset Grille (15th St) and on both sides of the St. Aug Beach Front Resort (Pope Rd %26amp; 16th St.). It took me several years to learn these were all free public parking lots!

It was a horrible departure, wasn%26#39;t it? That is what I was afraid of; and ultimately didn%26#39;t go because of that. The shuttles must not have been very efficient (which is how it was last year.) Thanks, Capn.
it was a fantastic fireworks at the pier but i agree capn it was a nice late afternoon when i arrived than it started to turn chilly and i had only shirt and shorts on thinking it wasn%26#39;t gonna be so windy i was wrong i was freezing lol. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for other cars to leave .

The display was wonderful! But I was lucky to be at friend%26#39;s house and didn%26#39;t even attempt to go home for hours - good N.Y. Eve party. thanks jen and mike!
