Hi, iv%26#39;e allready booked by holiday at Hawks Cay back in Febuary and will be visiting in August. I booked a conch sea view villa through my travel agent - is this now a prefered villa with all the top notch facilities?

Preferred is the name of the company that now owns the resort. The villas are privately owned but rented through the resort%26#39;s vacation rental program. In order to remain in the program, owners had to undergo mandated updating. We had friends stay in a villa a couple of weeks ago and they loved it. I would call them directly to make sure you have one of the updated ones: 888-313-5749. The resort itself is quite beautiful but do yourself a favor and venture down the highway about 5 miles to explore Marathon and Key Colony Beach. Check those forums for ideas for activities, restaurants, etc.
Prefered Villas
We are booked in the same sea view Conch villa for 1/11-1/18. Any other tips or information on this accommodation would be appreciated. More than we normally pay for sun %26amp; fun vacations, but the place does look amazing. We have an 8 year old daughter and 9 month old baby boy, looking for fun activities.
