Daytona

This is a little OT (off topic) but TA will probably permit it here. We got a new kitten who is absolutely the best cat we have ever had!! He is just gorgeous, friendly, a real joy and true delight. I am not kidding, he is very spcial to us. We kept thinking what should we name this special cat... you guessed it, we named him Daytona.

I believe that we named them correctly -- because at night you can hear them running and chasing each other all thru the house.

Hey punz! Congrats on the new kitty! And naming him Daytona is absoutely perfect!! I have a beautiful tabby, who%26#39;s name is Levi - because he just loves to lay on blue jeans! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year back to you!

Hiya Punz,

Happy New Year to you and yours, and to all DB lovers out there...

We are planning a big trip because we missed out on our winter vacation, we are looking at around April/May time, hopefully incorporating a lovely summer in the UK on our return if all goes to plan this year. We had our trip to gorgeous DB last April and came home to a lousy summer :-( Which left us pining for the Florida sunshine and beaches at DB.

But we cannot wait to get back there. Miss it terribly! Still reading the posts everyday, gathering as much info as possible already, can%26#39;t keep away! Like we always say - it%26#39;s the excitement of planning too.

Glees, I agree - the planning is half the fun!!

Punz, I am definitely planning on going back this summer, hopefully the last week of June or first of July. That is, if everything goes well here - a little worried about hubby%26#39;s health at the time, and my dad just passed away last month, leaving my mom all alone. But we still managed a short 3 day trip a couple of weeks ago to New York for our 25th anniversary! So, plans are to still head down to that beautiful beach sometime next summer - I think I would go crazy if I didn%26#39;t get to see it!! :) Hope things are going well out your way!

If you can arrange to go the last week in May I may see you there. We can share some crab legs and soak in that gorgeous beach to our hearts content!
