Virgin flight vs027

Hello all. My son and girlfriend are going on 2nd Feb. They just rang Virgin to book the V room (special offer 拢10 ) and they were told their flight has been cancelled and they have now been put on the later flight at 12.55. Has this happened to anyone else or is this normal? Many thanks Carole

This is Virgin cutting the number of flights to suite customer loads. Why fly 3 aircraft when you have only enough passengers for one. When you fly on a given day doesn%26#39;t matter you can only do traveling that day

Thank you for replying. What happens if they get a %26#39;sudden rush%26#39; of people wanting to fly on that day, do they open the flight again.?

Nope they overbook then offer goodies to those willing to go from heathrow to Miami lol.They provide the transport or overnight at Gatwick. To fly out you need a slot its not like putting another bus on lol.
