driving from Jacksonville to Destin via rt 10.. Can anyone recommend a good food stop? thanks in advance
Good food on rt 10
Rt.10 is the major east-west truck route across northern Florida, and I don%26#39;t think you will find much in the way of ';fine dinning'; until possibly the Tallahassee area. I%26#39;ve run the 65 miles on Rt. 10 between Jacksonville and Rt.75 many times, and there%26#39;s not much along that stretch except the Osceola National Forest, and maybe a fast food stop.
My suggestion would be to have a nice breakfast before you leave Jacksonville, and about 2.5 hours later you should be near Tallahassee.
