We are wanting to fly into VPS instead of the 17 hour drive from Kansas. Are they full size planes that fly in or are they the small planes? Thanks

Depends upon the airline. Northwest flys DC-9%26#39;s from MEM to VPS. I think Delta and American are flying regional jets to VPS.

Another option is to fly into Pensecola (PNS) which is an additional one hour drive. Generally, PNS has more flights and larger planes.

we are from Kansas and we fly into vps all the time. We fly a small plane (50 seater) into Memphis and then from Memphis to VPS we have a large plan. The Memphis airport is better than Atlanta because of less delays ect.
