Tampa or Orlando airport/car rentals?
We can get flights cheaper to Tampa than Orlando and would like suggestions as to easier car rental access and how should we fit this in as we want to see Bush Gardens and DW and Sea World. Is it better to pay more and take orlando flight and stay in DW area than commute to Bush Gardens. HELP!
Tampa or Orlando airport/car rentals?
It%26#39;s approximately 1 hour 15 mins drive time from Tampa and 35mins from MCO to WDW.
If there was a good saving flying into Tampa then that%26#39;s where I would fly into.
If the majority of the places you wish to visit are in and around the WDW then I suggest you stay in that area.
Busch Gardens can be done as a day trip as that%26#39;s, perhaps, what the majority of people do.
Tampa or Orlando airport/car rentals?BG is easy to access form Orlando, and not much nearby it for hotles. If you want to stay west, I%26#39;d look at clearwater maybe.
Tampa airport has plenty of car rentals onsite. I uise Dollar/Thrifty there. they have alamo, and I have used, them, but they are offsite and you have to take a shuttle and I prefer to use on onsite one. At MCO, I use alamo dollar. Both airports also have the more exp ones on site like Hertz/avis.
I think MCO is more convenient for the Disney/universal areas, and Tampa is more convenient for the gulf but if Tampa is cheaper go for it. Both are convenient for car hire if you use an onsite one.
