Citricos or California Grill?

I am second guessing myself on my decision to visit California Grill.

Any opinions on California Grill versus Citricos??

I have not visited either one...

Citricos or California Grill?

For meunus:

Cali Grill you can see the fireworks from the terrace, Citricos you have to leave the restaurant.

Citricos or California Grill?

I have read the menus and online reviews but I was hoping for opinions from individuals who have been to both and can compare.

The Meal I had in Citricos in 2007 was great.

Service was fairly poor, but My guy was having a bad night I think. Room lacked ambiance. Coctails were good too.

I have been to both many times and the food is great at both and these are my two favorite DW restaurants. With that said, CG is my favorite of the two. We really like their sushi and getting a table with a view of the castle. With that said, Citrico%26#39;s food is just as good. I think the noise level is higher at CG and that Citricos, depending on your table has more ambiance. It really depends on the menu and what your tastes are.

Have you thought about Narcoosee%26#39;s?

Well, I decided against Narcoossees because of the limited selection of non-seafood items. California Grill appears to have a bit more variety of non-seafood entrees.

I really should stop over-thinking things!!!

Narcoossee%26#39;s is my pick!

California Grill is very large, with a high noise level. The atmosphere is too stark, for my taste. The service can be good (never great) or terrible (more often than not). The food is good. The fireworks from on-high, are fabulous!

Citrico%26#39;s is large, with country French atmosphere. The service is usually good (not always). The food is good to great. The fireworks can only be seen from certain tables, at a long distance.

Narcoossee%26#39;s is much more intimate, sits over the water, and looks straight at Cinderella%26#39;s castle. The food and service are consistently excellent. The fireworks can be seen from every table or on the private veranda. The Wishes music and narrative, are piped in. The Electric Water Parade passes by, after the fireworks.

We have dined, at least three times, at each venue. We make it a point to dine at Narcoossee%26#39;s on every trip, visit Citrico%26#39;s every now and then and choose not to return to Cali Grill.

One thing I really wanted to mention no matter which restaurant you choose is to always check your bill. Last August while dining at Citricos, there were 4 of us, the bill came and there were 7 entrees charged. The waiter inadverently put the entrees from the table next to us on our bill, I do think it was a mistake on his part and not deliberate. Also, always check the total credits being used on the dining plan. We ended up on another trip being short some counter service meals.

I have been to both - and in particular have been to the California Grill many, many times. While Citrico%26#39;s is very good (and I do recommend it), between the two I would always have to take the California Grill. If you have a reservation at the CG, stick with it - you can%26#39;t go wrong. It%26#39;s definitely my favorite at Disney - and indeed is the favorite of all the adults in my extended family (which includes people with a a wide variety of tastes).

Thank you all very much for your advice. I do already have reservations for California Grill and I will keep it for now. Thank you again and it does appear that I need to visit Citricos. Maybe I will wait until September.
