I know that the last couple of years there have been more jellyfish in Destin than normal. We are coming to Destin May 16-23 this year, is that something we have to worry about this time of year. Also, what about June grass, is that something that might be present in May?
Jellyfish
Only Momma Nature and semco can answer those questions...
Jellyfish
Consult ';Baked again'; for in-depth, scientific knowledge regarding June grass.
Oh No! Is this going to start again. Why don%26#39;t you do a search for Mother Nature and many of your questions will be answered. No human can predict, answer or advise you on these matters.
Yeah Semco; I%26#39;m having a dejavu here about what this could possibly stir up; that time of year I guess.
I wouldn%26#39;t be concerned. There%26#39;s more likelihood of jellyfish and June grass later in the summer. Personally, I think ';June grass'; is somewhat of a misnomer. I have been going to Destin in June for years now, and I have never been significantly impacted by June grass. And I am super aware of its presence in the tiniest amount because I%26#39;m always going snorkeling. May is probably the best time to be in Destin in terms of temperature and lack of crowds -enjoy!
Yeah, I don%26#39;t know why they call it grass either. I call it green slime. And I don%26#39;t know why they use June because it is usually here in May. LOL
Such docile responses.....you guys are no fun anymore :) Just teasing, of course......
I have consulted Momma Nature (she lives next door) and she says there will be no influx of jelly fish this year and that the June grass will catch the late bus and won%26#39;t arrive until July.
cat67x--I mean no offense...just ongoing chatter on this board :)
I thought we already decided that Momma Nature was giving Destin perfection this season? :)
