We have never been here and are thinking of a trip for our anniversary last week of June. We are beach bums (52 and kids are gone!). We want to be able to kick back on the beach, go in the ocean, read a book, have a drink, go out to a good dinner. Does St Pete fit the bill for what we are seeking? How is the weather that time of year?
Thanks!
St Pete in late June?
Hi, tpoid,
Definitely does! Kicking back is a way of life here! Most of the hotels are located directly on the beach, and are in walking distance to restaurants, stores, bars, etc.
Weather is hot and humid, with occassional, usually brief thunderstorms that generally happen in late afternoon, then clear up. Water temp is in the 80%26#39;s!
St Pete in late June?
St Pete Beach is the way to go, we have been going to Florida for many years now,we have been to Treasure Island which is also nice but the beach is very wide long walk to the water, Maderia has a nice short beach but is mainly condos. We have been going to St Pete now for many years there are loads of hotels and motels on the beach with tiki bars and restaurants,we are also in our 50%26#39;s I just booked at the Bon Aire for July 11 through the 19.last year we stayed at he Alden and while we were there we checked out the Bon Aire it looked really nice can%26#39;t wait to go. Hope you have a great vacation
St. Pete Beach has exactly what you%26#39;re looking for. Been going there for years and still love it!
