Hotels Near the Cruise Ships

I am meeting a ship and would like to be in a hotel within walking distance of the terminals. Don%26#39;t know if there are multiple terminals or if the hotels are close. Hotel suggestions would be appreciated.

Ohh, I just realized you want to walk to the terminals... you won%26#39;t be able to do that. These hotels are right near the port, but you can%26#39;t actually walk to the terminals.

Since 9/11, security is very tight at the Port so anyone trying to enter the port will have to show ID and explain where you%26#39;re going and why. The terminals are scattered throughout the port. Two terminals are very close to 17th Street and the two hotels mentioned. The other terminals are very far into the port and are not walkable. Are you just meeting someone who%26#39;s coming in from a cruise? I would do myself a favor and cab it into the port.
