Is there a car rental company on Clearwater Beach or would we have to go into Clearwater? I believe their is an office on highway 19N - how far is that from the beach. Thanks.
Car Rental on Clearwater Beach
To get to US19 from the beach, will be about a 20 min drive. But you won%26#39;t need to go that far.
There is a Hertz in the Marriott hotel on Sand Key, which is just a couple minutes drive from Clearwater Beach (just over the bridge at the South end of the beach, hotel is on the Left). The beach trolley can get you there also. My guess is you will pay for that convenience.
There is an Avis in downtown Clearwater. This will be just a 10 minute or so drive from the beach, and I will think it will be quite a bit le$$ than the one on the beach.
