Kawama Yacht Club

I just booked a 3 bedroom, 3 bath townhouse at the Kawama Yacht club for Christmas. We will be in Building K, Unit 6. Has anyone ever rented in this building or even better this unit? Just wondering how it is? Hope to get a reply.

Rented J3 and will be renting J2 this Jan 17- Feb 17. Right by one of the pools. Each unit is furnished differently but has plenty of room. We loved the location. The lagoon has the most beautiful fish and if you want you can feed them from the dock or right from the walking path by your unit.I know what unit you are in but don%26#39;t know what its like inside. We were very pleased except for the cleaning charge. Cleaned when we arrived and cleaned when we left but still were charged 125.00. If you have a cleaning charge don%26#39;t bother to clean when you leave. I was under the assumption the owner was coming down after me and if I cleaned he would not charge me. Lot to do in the area and good eats. We went to the Ilamarada Fish house and it was excellant. The beaches aren%26#39;t sandy like in the mainland but the pools that you can use at the kawana are fine.How long are you there for? Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for posting a reply. We will be there for a week during Christmas. I have heard mixed reviews but am glad you found it to be a good experience overall. Are there alot of bugs this time of year? Have you been there since they have done renovations? I appreciate any advice you can give us!

sorry i haven%26#39;t been checking the forums lately but how was you stay at Kawana? We leave in 2 weeks and I am looking forward to it to get away from this snow and cold weather.

We had a great time!! Our condo was well equipped, plenty of room for our big family and very relaxing.

It was nice having a golf cart to take down to the point and watch the sunsets. It was not that crowded and the pool decks were great for sunbatheing. I hope you enjoy your trip! I wish I could go back already!
