Transportation fr Orlando to Fort Lauderdale

Hi

I%26#39;ll be in Orlando for 10 days. Will be going to Fort Lauderdale for the weekend. My partner will be in Fort Lauderdale and was gonna drive up to get me, but I don%26#39;t really want him to do this. So I%26#39;ve decided to research my options getting transportation.

I%26#39;ve looked at Amtrax and Greyhound services but on doing the research regarding these the drives quite long, from what some say on here its not the best regarding comfort/other users etc. i%26#39;ll be with 2 kids with luggage so this would be my last option. Flying? at the moment it coming out at $85 pp. Can%26#39;t afford that?!

Can anyone recommend any shuttle or bus services that can do this journey? (Orlando/Kissimmee area to Fort Lauderdale)

Thanks in advance for any replies?

p.s Would only need 1 way, as my partner will come back up with me to orlando.

There are places that do day trips to Miami but not Ft L i think.

Your choice is limited to a one day car hire (cheapest option), or bus or train. Or him getting you will cost him 8 hours but will be cheapest.

Even a shuttle service like Gatortours would charge you $99 per person to Miami, the closest they come to F.L.

You probably need to look into Grey Hound bus service as the cheapest alternative. It%26#39;s a long way between Orlando and F.L.

AMTRAK trains are actually very comfortable with huge amounts of legroom etc., and generally inexpensive - but rarely punctual! I think it%26#39;s a great way to travel, if you are patient.

You may be able to find a cheap flight between Orlando and Ft Lauderdale as well. It is just a matter of getting to the airport (which can get expensive)

Greyhound will be the cheapest alternative;don%26#39;t think any shuttle service exists to Ft. lauderdale. The train is much more comfortable than the bus but it is erratic and expensive. You have to decide what%26#39;s more important to you-comfort or cost
