Choice between these two hotels?

My husband and I are going to St. Augustine for Valentine%26#39;s Day weekend. I had no idea how booked up the hotels would be!!

We basically have to choose between the Holiday Inn in the Historic District or the Anastasia Inn. Any advice? Cleanliness, quiet and decent beds are more important to us than proximity to the sights.

We have stayed at the anastasia inn, and it is pretty comfortable. All of your requirements, I believe would be met there.

Hello Frisbeemom, actually holiday inn isn%26#39;t within walking distance to the downtown area so its on US1 closeby the downtown. Your best bet would be anastasia inn on the island which is very nearby the town just 10 minutes by walking or 5 minutes by driving. Enjoy St.Augustine :)
