hi , am thinking of booking here for august, rates are great and reviews good.. does anyone prefer one phase to the other? it sounds like you can%26#39;t guarantee one but could put in a request. believe phase 2 is newer and condos larger but phase i has the best pool, also has phase 1 been renovated? there are a few reviews saying they are a bit dated. or is it all much the same? thanks so much for your thoughts. one more question is it easy to walk to the crossroads shopping center from cypress pointe?
cypress pointe resort/grande villas phase 1/2
I like phase one, and have always stayed there. My condos have always been renovated. I usually get a 3 bed for a family of five- that way no one is sleeping in the living room.
Phase 2 has elevators and has more levels. P1 has only 3 levels but it walk up. I would think crossroads is easier to get to from Phase one, but it doesn%26#39;t make too much difference as they are close to each other and I guess you could go out the back way via Lake RD.
cypress pointe resort/grande villas phase 1/2
I%26#39;ve stayed in phase 2 (Grande Villas) several times and have always been satisfied. The only thing I would recommend is to spring for the two bedroom. The one bedroom is teensy, it would be crowded for two IMHO.
The GV are newer but Phase 1 has been recently renovated. Here are a few pictures of a 2 BR in Phase 2 from Easter 2008:

I don%26#39;t know about the Crossroads but there is a Winn Dixie supermarket that you can definitely walk to from CP.
Hope this helps!

thank you both for you replies, both phases sound good so i will leave it to them. thanks for the photos link, it looks lovely, we are going to book a 2 bed.
Good choice,
the one beds are really studios there with open plan to bathroom and mini kitchen in a cupboard.
The 2 beds have full kithcen and washer dryer and seperate living room and much bigger balcony.
Having looked at Jenn%26#39;s photos, the phase 1 living area is larger. But bedroom 2 is far better in phase 2.
