Virgin Holidays/TCD

Hi all, I am sure a lot of you have heard that TCD is back under Virgin Holidays, just wondering I know they will be using Virgin 747 planes but without the Virgin Holidays extras, my question is the cabin crew will they be Virgins or TCD. Is anyone interested in booking with TCD again, I am tempted.

Thanks

Sharon

Virgin Holidays/TCD

Oh no Sharon. This has been a heavily debated topic. Wait for the replies to roll in.

I personally would travel with TCD. Its all about the price for most of us guys nowadays. If I was loaded then I%26#39;d probably stick with Virgin or BA, but unfortunately I%26#39;m not so the best value flight for me please. I%26#39;d make sure I took %26#39;supplier failure insurance%26#39;, which is like a new for old insurance policy. This means should the company you%26#39;ve booked with go into Admin, you get the money to buy the same product (to replace it like for like). So if the flights have doubled in price, they cover the cost of a new flight. You can get it for as little as 拢5pp so well worth it.

Virgin Holidays/TCD

i was tempted to book again having just received a new brochure from them recently, but unfortunatley it was too late as i booked with virgin directly. makes no difference now though suppose!!

having said that though looking through the brochure it does say that ';virgin atlantic are operating direct flights from gatwick and manchester to orlando.';

it also shows other airline partners to include continental airlines (who according to brochure are ';offering daily services from heathrow,gatwick man and edinburgh to orlando on a modern fleet of boeing aircraft via newyork.';)

other airlines who they are partner with are delta and us airways. and quote '; a variety of transatlantic airlines means that we are now able to offer departures on any day of the week.';
