Hotels in Walking Distance of Terminal

I am meeting a ship in Ft Lauderdale and would like to stay at a hotel within walking distance of where the ships dock. I don%26#39;t even know if this is possible but if so I would appreciate suggestions.

I%26#39;m pretty sure that this question has been asked before and the reply was that it isn%26#39;t possible to enter the port on foot and also if it was most ships are not docked within reasonable walking distance of the hotels.

Thanks so much for the prompt response. I need to check where the ship is coming in and go from there. Both suggested hotels would probably work for me.
