goin to miami in march , want to hire a car , better to book online before hand or is it cheaper to wait ?

Wait until when - until you get to Miami?

I usually book well before online - often prepaid and then take a voucher to the car rental depot. Prices can go up or down, as can exchange rates.

I believe all the car rental locations are off airport at Miami so you have to get the transfer bus outside the terminal for your particular firm.
