looking for scuba diving advise

We are going to Marathon at the end of March and I am looking for advise on scuba diving trips. Is it better to go to Pennekamp Park or to go in Marathon? Any advise on other things to do in the Keys for two adults and two kids (5 and 11) such as glassbottom boats or everglade tours? Please help.

Marathon has some great diving spots, but so does Pennekamp. Pennekamp State Park is about an hour from Marathon.

http://www.tildensscubacenter.com/ I can recommend Tildens Dive shop in Marathon.

The Dolphin Research Center is always a fun place to go to.

You may want to try a kayak eco tour with Dave at Marathon Kayak - www.marathonkayak.com. My family visits from Long Island every February and this is always on their must-do list. They have a 14 y/o who also enjoyed swimming with the dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center on one visit. Stop by the Aqua Ranch (across the street from the DRC) and feed the giant cobia. Go to Crane Point Hammock to see what the Keys looked like when the Bahamians found these islands. Go to Pigeon Key to see what living conditions were like for Henry Flagler%26#39;s railroad workers. And, go to the Turtle Hospital to see the amazing work they do with injured turtles. Have a great time!

We went out with A Deep Blue Dive (in Key Colony) for our first dive doing a Discover SCUBA class. Absolute blast! Crew was very friendly and excellent instructors.

Had a poor SNUBA experience w/ Tilden but don%26#39;t know how they are with SCUBA.

If possible take the trip to the Dry Tortuga%26#39;s for a dive. You will catch a boat out of Key West.
