Oh my! Do prices tend to go down after a big event like the Super Bowl?

I was searching yesterday and found a semi-decent price of $233 for an intermediate size at one of the name brand places but the same place today is around $311! The prices at the airport locations are just crazy so I%26#39;ve been searching the off airport sites.

I%26#39;ve been to a website before where priceline/hotwire users post results of the prices they%26#39;ve been offered and where the car rental/hotels were. I can%26#39;t recall what it%26#39;s called......anybody know?
