I live in the UK and am going to Florida in May 2009 for 2 weeks. We are currently looking at tickets for disney and universal and just wondered if anyone knew from past experience if we should wait until we get to Florida to buy the tickets in dollars at the hotel or direct as it seems the prices that we are getting quoted from the travel agents are really high!! i have looked on the US disney website and the ticket prices work out loads cheaper but i don%26#39;t think i can purchase them from that website as i live in the UK?? any ideas or advice would be appreciated x

You can buy them from the UK, no problem :)
Theme Park Tickets
thank you - so i can buy them from disney direct from the US site?
There is a Disney UK Site but I recomend undercovertourist because you can get a nice discount
Buying Direct from Disney Sites will not have any Discounts :)
Hi,
We went for first time in June 08 and we bought our tickets from Travel Agent and they were expensive. We have booked again for October and haven%26#39;t bought them with travel agent this time as was recommended to use undercovertourist. The prices are so much cheaper so we will be using them as I thinl a lot of the users on this web site do and find them very reiable.
when you went how long did you spend in the parks - we dont have any kids but haven%26#39;t been before!! we thought maybe 5 day disney pass would be ok and then buy another one for universal on top??
We were there for 2 weeks and got 14 day disney ultimate tickets and 14 day Orlando Flextickets.(these were for universal, Islands of adventure, seaworld, wet n wild and they now include aquatica).
We went to each park at least once and mostly spent the whole day at each park. A couple of times we spent the morning either shopping or by the pool and went to a park later in the day and stayed out later.
We do have a 7yr old though and so I%26#39;m not sure what we would do differently if we didn%26#39;t have a child. Probably nothing as all the parks are amazing in my opinion!
You may get around quicker than we did with a child and so a 5 day pass may be okay for 2 adults!!
another thing is, I would get your tickets sorted before you go, one less thing to worry about!
I recommend using the touringplans.com ticket calculator for disney tickets.
I suspect that price difference between a 5 day MYW tickets and 10 days MYW tickets are only a few dollars.
If you want universal tickets get them from the universal US site as you get a better deal such as 2 park 7 day tickets for the price of a day ticket.
