Hotels with their own beach?

Hi!

We are considering Clearwater Beach for part of our week long trip to Disny (3 nights) at the end of April. Are there any hotels in Clearwater that have their own beach? I was looking at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites which looked like it was right on the beach - but all of the reviews say the beach is about a block away. So I am kind of confused!

The Holiday Inn is on the water, but not a beach. It is a seawall behind it. Just a concrete wall separating the property from the water. The main beach will be a short 5-10 min walk. The larger hotels directly on the beach are Hilton and the Sandpearl. See your other post for more info on these.

For hotels more in line, pricewise, with Holiday Inn. There is a Red Roof Inn, and a Travelodge across the street from the main beach. These will overlook the beach, but you would have to cross the street to reach the beach.

If you have Google Earth, and turn on the hotel locator function, you can get a better idea of how the beach area is laid out, and how the hotels are situated in relation to the beach.
