Coming for a convention but want to do Disney with child as well. Saw the Wyndam had bunk beds, separate TV, and free breakfast for kids but wanted luxury as well. Is there a big difference between the two resorts? Which would you pick?
Wyndham Orlando Resort or Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal?
I can%26#39;t compare the two but I did stay at the Wyndham. It is a very large resort with several different sections. I don%26#39;t know if it was just the one we were in but the rooms were very old and worn. The hallways were dirty and didn%26#39;t look like they had been vacuumed. Our room was dingy and not as clean as I would like. I would not stay there again.
Wyndham Orlando Resort or Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal?
Hi, my boss is just back from the Wyndam, he was there with the family for xmas. Said the place was a dump. Very old and run down.I normally stay in the QIP or Rosen Plaza. So I cant give a first hand account but thought this might be of some help. Good Luck!
Hi mckennasmom. I have stayed at both in the past. IMO I would choose the Crowne Plaza. The wyndham does have bunk beds for kids but that area is very tiny and so is the tv and this bit wasn%26#39;t seperated by a door or anything, just open plan. The room we had in 2005 was not big at all. According to the reviews it has gone a bit downhill but a couple of weeks ago when in orlando, we decided to go for a lookabout. The pool areas are lovely, with a starbucks and haagen dazz(sp!) on site. I had a glance in a few rooms and they looked no different than when we stayed there. I stayed at the Crowne first week it opened and it was luxurious, you literally bounced off the carpets and then returned two years after that and it was still high standard. The pool area is nice, heated etc. Have a great time wherever you decide.
