Day 4- Seaworld:
After a lot of research, we decided to go to Seaworld on Christmas Day.
We got there just at opening time. We decided on priority parking and we were just steps from the enterance.
WEnt straight to book a meal at the Shark Encounter went through the exhibit after making the booking and then went
straight to Atlantis and was on the first boat! It was great! DH got soaked and I was dry as a bone. We did baby swap and the other couple was soaked..... no help from DH and super soakers! We got in line for Kraken. However, it was not open for some reason and we weren%26#39;t dying to ride it so we moved on. Son loves penguins, so we went to see the penguins and got to see the flamigos as well. It was about 1/2 hour until the Shamu show, so off we went to that. It was a GREAT show and son keeps talking about it. Saw the Clydsdales and picked up a free beer. It was time for our meal and we were seated right next to the tank. It was fantastic! I had steak and lobster. Delicious! We spent a while there. It was Christmas and we wanted to enjoy the meal. We did!
Following that we headed to the Natilus show. While waiting, it started to pouring rain! It was the only timewe were caught in rain. It lasted about 10 min and it was over. The show was GREAT! We really enjoyed it.
Then we went off to the Polar Express. The line was long for the ride. We decided to do the walk experience and son got to see Santa! We loved the pictures and got them. I couldn%26#39;t pass up the real looking santa on Christmas day. The date is on the lpictures. Good souviner.
We then stopped for coffee and ice creams determined to go to the dolphin area. However, son was getting tired and we agreed to try to make it a day.
Day 5- 26th Dec.
Shopping day! I know, the day after Christmas may not be the best day. However, the sales were GOOD! We went to Florida Mall and Millenium Mall. DH bought me a beautiful sapphire and diamond ringfor less than half price! We bought loads of clothes for son andsome other bits and pieces I wanted.
Then I took a wrong turn coming back to hotel and I don%26#39;t know, but ended up on a toll road and thank heavens for sat nav. It got us home after 1 hour driving and all I wanted was a strong drink. So we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for afew drinks and a bite to eat. Then a LONG sleep!

Day 4- 25th Dec. Seaworld
Sounds great! How were the crowds overall at Seaworld on Christmas Day?
Day-after-Christmas shopping is well worth fighting the crowds! I was out by 5am that morning and got some great stuff. Congrats on the beautiful ring!
Christmas Day at Seaworld sounds great
Shopping the day after really paid off, Nice Ring, Well Done :)
I%26#39;m glad you had a good day at Sea World. We went to Sea World on Christmas Day too and really had a nice time. It%26#39;s such a delightful park with beautiful landscaping too -- so pleasant. I think it was a great choice for Christmas Day. The weather was great and the crowds were much lighter than when we were latter in the week and when we were there in June of 2007 on a Saturday. On the 25th, we did the Kraken and Altantis first thing, and then hung out by the stingray touch pool. They were feeding the stingrays, so they were even easier to touch / closer to the surface than usual. Next we did the show circuit (the four we could fit in): Blue Horizons, Pet%26#39;s Ahoy, Clyde and Semour, and the Christmas Orca show (Miracles). The shows, as always, were wonderful. We got to each show about 25 minutes before starting time to get good seats. That meant the only time we had to do other things was between Clyde and Semour and Miracles. During this time, we ate at the Smoke House (good BBQ and good price for a theme park I thought), went to see the penguins, stopped in some gift shops, were going to do Polar Express, but line was too long, so did Shamu viewing from the underwater window (an employee was there talking about Shamu and answering questions which was fun) and then we took the kids photos on the various Orca statues (very fun). We did a second day at Sea World later in the week, to catch what we didn%26#39;t do Christmas day. We were inside at the Pet%26#39;s Ahoy show when the rain came, so missed that completely.
