less than $100 a night?

I moved to Palm Beach last year and have never been to Key West. I want to drive down for my bday at the end of Jan, which hotels are decent %26amp; roach free for under $100? I plan on spending my money on liquor and food, not the hotel.

January is high season, and lodging for under $100 a night is almost non-existent during that period. The Angelina Guest House is a nice basic B%26amp;B, and you might have something with a shared bathroom for around $100/night. Even the dumpy old motels at the entrance to the island go for $150+ a night during winter. The Blue Marlin Motel is a decent place and you might be able to book it for $150 or so a night.

Also try Key West Bed %26amp; Breakfast. It%26#39;s a beautiful b%26amp;b in a great location. They only have a few rooms, and I%26#39;d be surprised if they aren%26#39;t completely booked, but I believe they start at $99 for a room with a shared bath.

Maybe consider staying outside of Key West?

Here is a site that might help.

Check the Jasmine House too. Center Street 1/2 block off Duval in the 800 block.

What is up with the roaches? Wow, have not even brought my suitcases in the house this trip, spraying everything down and washing each article. They came and sprayed, we sprayed and the critters were still coming out of the wood work. I am a floridian and this was bad for us. Good luck on a 100.00 a night. wow, that is about impossible unless priceline can get you something. Tourism is really down so there might be hope though.

Here is an article from someone trying to find a place to stay for around $100. I haven%26#39;t stayed in any of the places, so I can only present the article, no recommendations. tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g34345-i53-k229125鈥?/a>

We love Angelina Guest House and always stay there when we visit. Here is a link to their website where you can check room availability and rates. Even if you have to go with one of the rooms that ';share'; a bath, you will never know that anyone else has ever used it; they keep it that clean!!

We stayed at Southern Cross in Nov-it was $95 weeknights and $135 weekends. It was clean, but the bathroom situation is strange, so you%26#39;d want to be comfortable with the person you are traveling with. It is in a great location, and has a rooftop porch where you can people watch and have cocktails. My BF said we couldn%26#39;t have stayed at more conveient location and we are staying there every time.

I recommend going to Schooner Wharf at happy hour, making many fast friends during the time you spend there, then asking a few of them (after buying them at least three rounds) if you can sleep on their couch for $100. ;-) Probably your best bet to land that price, and a fun challenge as well!
