Recommend a place to stay in December at Cocoa Beach

I%26#39;m reading the reviews and not sure what to pick. My wife wants something close to the ocean with a great view of the ocean from a balcony. If we could keep it under $120 a night, that would be great too.

For $120 a night in December which is Low season you can get a great oceanfront condo...you must rent for a week in most cases.....Go to vrbo.com....make sure its direct east oceanview not a side view......

We always have liked the Doubletree. It is a small hotel and right on the beach.

A great place to stay over Christmas is Cocoa beach towers unit #16. We%26#39;ve stayed there and it%26#39;s wonderful. We%26#39;ve also been there over Christmas. Walking distance to the pier. Go to Kingrentals.com and look for cocoa beach towers #16. You%26#39;ll have a lot of fun. Great pool too, beach side.

Note that the Double Tree is in a good location, short walk to Publix (across busy A1A, use the traffic signal crossing), and short walk to beach from the hotel lobby. If you want an ocean front room you will need to get an end unit otherwise you%26#39;re looking at a partial ocean view with everyone else. Not much privacy on the partial-view balconies.
