transportation in Key West
Is it best to purchase the old town trolley e-ticket? We%26#39;re staying at Almond tree which looks like it%26#39;s right on a stop. Otherwise, do we have to go somewhere else to purchase b4 we can get on?
I happen to drive the Old Town Trolley so can answers any questions you may have.
General Info: Both the Conch Tour Train and Old Town Trolley are owned by the same company. The train is celebrating thier 50th year in operation. They do a 90 minute tour of the historic district and then you%26#39;re done.
The Trolley is also a 90 minute tour but of the entire island. The ticket is good all day and there are 12 stops where you can get on and off as often as you like.
Price on site: Both are $29 per adult, Ages 4 - 12: $14, Under 4, Free.
Price on line: $26.10 per adult, Ages 4 - 12: $12.60, Under 4, Free.

Hope that helps!
I guess what I mean is if I catch the trolley on Truman and Duval, can I just pay the $29 when i hop on, or do the tickets need to be purchased in advance? And if so, where do I buy them? Is it far from there? Hope that makes sense. Thanks!
wow, wish I had known that, I would have been looking for you last week. We rode bikes the entire time. We bring them with us and love that we can go anywhere on them.
you should buy them online for the discount. Do that here:
trolleytours.com/key-west/rates-and-reservat鈥?/a>
If you%26#39;d prefer to buy them once you get there that page shows 4 places that sell the tickets, which does include Truval Village, at Truman and Duval, like you wanted.
Thank you! That%26#39;s very helpful. We thought if we couldn%26#39;t check in right away that would be a good thing to do to kill a little time and get the feel of the place
We are going back to KW in Feb (yay!) and discovered another cool way to get around town while doing research online... the Bone Island Shuttle

Check it out - it may be an option.
