Port Orleans French Quarter or Pop Century?

We can%26#39;t decide which hotel to go with. We have finally narrowed it down to two resorts:

Pop Century

We like the muliple pool areas and it is $150 cheaper for our 3 night stay

French Quarter

We like the slide in the pool area and the fact that it%26#39;s closer to the parks and smaller.

Any advice

Port Orleans French Quarter or Pop Century?

My vote is for French Quarter. It is one of my favorites!

Port Orleans French Quarter or Pop Century?

POFQ

Pool is great, lovely grounds, quick walk over to POR, more dining options, boat to Downtown Disney, bigger room, beautiful river views :)

POFQ is definitely the nicer of the two choices. If the extra money is in the budget go for it. The Pop hotels are not bad for the money though. Don%26#39;t think you will be staying in a bad hotel if you choose it. Both will be nice for your stay.

If budget allows it, I%26#39;d go to POFQ.

In October, we originally booked Pop, but then we got a good deal on POFQ, so we upgraded.

Benefits to POFQ over POP: boat to DTD, 2 sinks in the room :)

kat, is the 2 sinks a ';kat'; thing or what ?

just kidding :)

casey, thought of one more nice perk at POFQ, there is a Hot Tub, very nice to soak in after a Long Day at the Parks :)

Without a doubt the French Quarter!

Stayed at both during 2008 and for $150 (and I%26#39;m a cheapskate, bigtime) POFQ hands down. The fridge will save you a bit and Pop was a total zoo when I was there.

Partypa: when you have 2 twenty-something girls getting ready at the same time, 2 sinks is a God-send!!!

So it%26#39;s a hands down French Quarter! Thanks a bunch! I don%26#39;t thik I have heard of any drawbacks yet of it.

I will have to check the reviews (but there will always be someone who has had a bad experiece, this is what made it hard for us to decide).
