pirates dinner show

has anyone ever been? is it well suited and entertaining for teenagers? how is the food?

pirates dinner show

It gets terrible reviews for both bad food and a bad show. I%26#39;ve not been, but do a search in the search box to find all those folks who have not like it.

Here are some of the reviews from T.A.

So are there any dinner shows that do come recomended? I think Hoop do doo would be out of my price range.

We enjoyed the %26#39; Dixie stampede %26#39;....it%26#39;s good fun and we liked the food....it is between the 192 and International Drive right next door to the Premium Outlets...it has two parts being a show before the main event..you go through to an arena and sit right around , taking sides and shouting for either the North or South....

There were children, teenagers and people of all ages when we went..it suited us fine but see what others think...

it is okay but a far better night is Arabian Nights at Kissimee and dont book it till you get there

I would recommend Arabian Nights, It is far more interactive, the performers bring the horses to meet you afterwards. There is a magician before hand. The food is good and the set up inj general is much better. Book it when u get there thru one of the many discount magazines u wil get it is cheaper

There really aren%26#39;t any GREAT shows out there. Dixie Stampede is amongst the choices, the better one. If you really want to do a dinner show, I would spend a little more and do the Hoop DeDoo, (I know you mentioned it was out of your price range) it is worth it.

It%26#39;s rubbish, your teenagers will hate it, Dixie stampede is better, They will probably also enjoy Hoop Dee Doo, but you%26#39;ll never get a teenager to admit it

I would absolutely avoid the Pirates. Food was bad and the show was even worse. It ranks right up there with the ten most miserable nights of my life. I have no other experience with dinner shows, but had friends with three teens and they enjoyed Arabian Nights. Other family members found the Dixie Stampede bearable. As other posters have noted, there is not really any good show. Perhaps dinner at a nice restaurant followed by a performance of La Cirque would be more enjoyable all the way around. We have done that several times, and it is a very good performance. We do not like it quite as well as the La Cirque shows in Las Vegas, but it is certainly better than the pirates.

I have not been to this show. My daughters(11,11,13) and I did go to Capone%26#39;s dinner theater on 192. I believe I spent $40 with my coupon. Its was Italian buffet, all drinks included, you needed a password to get in(given when you pick up your tickets),and had our ';mug'; shots taken($20 for 2 key chains and a 8x10 offered at your table). Its 20%26#39;s speakeasy style and very interactive. It was their first dinner theather experiance and they loved it.They have a new found love for ';theater'; now, mainly musicals. My daughters have been to Midevel Times in Illinois($40 per person hated it),and Lost in the 50';s Branson($50 for the family and loved it). They still talk about Capone%26#39;s and want to go back. Ask them what they would like, you may be surprised.
