Pierside Grill Webcam

Hi, anybody having problems logging on to the webcam at the Pierside Grill?

Just don%26#39;t seem able to connect at the moment.

There is a possibility that it was knocked out by a storm. We%26#39;ve had some pretty severe weather lately (and by the looks of things, will continue to have for the next week or two).

Thanks for the info islandgirlfmb. I%26#39;m sorry to hear that you%26#39;re all experiencing such extreme bad weather. Hope things are easing up a bit as we expect to make a trip to our very favourite place of Ft Myers Beach in the next couple of weeks. Take care and best regards, Shuttleman

Still can%26#39;t connect to the Ft Myers Beach, PiersideGrill webcam. When trying to log-in as %26#39;guest%26#39; it shows it%26#39;s trying to connect to http://70.88.61.157 then flags-up there%26#39;s (x) users online, click OK and then it does nothing!

Anybody else experiencing this or is it just me?

Hmmm...I am able to connect without a problem on my DSL broadband here in CT. I can tell you that today (10:22 am est) looks like a beautiful day on FMB, bright sunshine with a few puffy white clouds. I count about 20 people on the beach. Can almost hear the lapping waves.

if you want to see fort myers beach daily on the web cam, I go to http:diamondheadfl.com. Sometimes it shows the beach, pointing toward the pier. And sometimes it shows toward the south end of fort myers beach. I like to see the beach everyday. It was neat to see the beach when the hurricane was in the Gulf. The water took over almost all of the beach.

It is your firewall. Unable it and you will be fine. You can still click on snapshot if you want to see the stills. I had the same problem. Good luck.

Thanks for the website, slgth

Thanks for your help everyone. Have tried disabling the firewall, checked my Internet Explorer settings and unfortunately still cannot get the %26#39;streaming-video%26#39; from the Pierside Grill Web Cam although I can get the %26#39;Snapshot%26#39; option. I%26#39;m sure that it%26#39;s something in my setup on my PC that is not configured correctly but I%26#39;ll keep %26#39;chipping away at it%26#39; and no doubt hopefully in the not too distant future I will regain video-contact! Fingers crossed! However, all is not too bad really as we have just been over from the UK to stay in %26#39;paradise%26#39; on beautiful Ft Myers Beach again which we have been doing for several years. Fantastic place, great stay in a beautifully remodelled Condo at Smugglers Cove and excellent eating places like Charley%26#39;s Boathouse, the Beached Whale and Pinchers and also to see the Pier in all its glory! So I suppose now we%26#39;ll have to make do with the %26#39;Diamondhead%26#39; webcam until our trip next year! Thanks again for all your advice.

Try this, disable your virus protection for a minute and try the cam then, I have a buddy who said that worked for him. Just remember to turn the protection back on. Good luck.

You should never disable your firewall or Anti-Virus protection unless you are downloading software cause the program requested this during the download. Examples are Microsoft, your Anti-Virus software or your loading a new piece of software in place for what you already have.

Try this website to get a view/webcam of Diamondhead Pier, don%26#39;t think Pierside Grill webcam is working properly:
