Massage

I%26#39;m headed to Key West and would like to get a really great massage while I%26#39;m there. If it happens to be at a spa, that%26#39;s fine, but I%26#39;m more interested in a good massage, even if the location isn%26#39;t as fancy as others.

I%26#39;ll be staying at the Casa Marina, so somewhere close to that would be nice, but I%26#39;d take a short cab ride, if it%26#39;s worth it. Any suggestions?

Pier House has a great spa (or so I%26#39;m told by everyone). It%26#39;s about 1.5 miles from the Casa, on the gulf end of Duval.

Definately Pier House Caribbean Spa. A whole building devoted to it. Try the Caribbean Coma, you%26#39;ll be boneless when you%26#39;re done. Short taxi ride and they%26#39;ll have a cab waiting for you when you%26#39;re done.

The Pier House hands down but if you want to stay at the Casa and there is a gentleman named Mike who gives a great massage. I am not sure he is still there buts its worth asking about.

After a particularily hard couple of weeks, my wife was stressed out completely. I took advantage of a temporary deal the Pier House ran... Told my wife I had to drop something off to a friend who works there. She had no idea that %26#39;something%26#39; was her. She%26#39;d never had a massage, let alone the full monty - Facial, manicure, pedicure etc. The effect has lasted several weeks. They did a great job! She told our son who lives up in Michigan about it. He didn%26#39;t get it that it was a big deal until my wife explained to him in terms he could understand. (He%26#39;s a car guy). She told him I had her detailed.

Michael works at both Pier House and Casa Marina. At the Casa, you can have a beach side massage. At Pier House, you can use the hot tub and steam room. Either place, ask for Michael. Another great option is Pra Na Spa. You can%26#39;t go wrong with any of those 3.
