This is what I'm looking for . . . .

A hotel for 4 - 5 women that has the following:

1). No bugs

2). A pool

3). A hot tub

4). A restaurant/bar within walking distance

5). A 2-bdrm or adjoining rooms big enough for us to all stay together.

Right now, we are leaning toward The Cove in Ormond Beach but they don%26#39;t have a restaurant or bar. Has anyone stayed there?

We are staying the weekend of March 20th.

Any suggestions (other than Oceanwalk or the Hilton)?

If it had a hot tub, the Best Western Aku Tiki Inn would be perfect for you. The manager%26#39;s happy hour at the Trader%26#39;s Restaurant which is attached is very good.

They offer adjoining, attached rooms on the ocean front rooms that have a privacy door for each room and a door off the hallway that makes it nice because you have two rooms with separated doorways and a sinle door off the hallway. This allows someone to sleep in one room area and everyone else to talk or watch tv in the other room, come and go, without bothering the sleeper. It is a nicer setup than the connecting doorways where the doors are back to back. You might call them, but I don%26#39;t think they have a hot tub? Good luck.

I would also suggest the Daytona Beach Regency - it has very nice sized condos, with two bedrooms - and one of them can be locked off from the main side for some more privacy. The also have a nice pool area with a great tiki bar, hot tub, and many restaurants and bars within walking distance. They are right beside the Ocean Walk, so it%26#39;s a great location for everything!

The Royal Floridian Ormond Beach - it has a tiki bar but is over the road from TGI and the Peach Valley Cafe and a short walk from the Stonewood Grill which is a great bar and grill

We stayed there in a 2 bedroom place and the rooms are great and the pool is fine (check my review and photos)

The LaPlaya Resort has 2 outdoor and one indoor hot tub, large pool, tiki bar, nice deck, right across the street from a shopping center, Red Lobster, Charlie Horse, Julians, Barnacles, etc all within walking distance. It is north of the Ocean Walk/ Boarwalk area but trollys and buses run all up and down A1A from morning until late evening for a small fee. They have suites which could accomodate 4 eaisly with a door you can close off one room with and a full kitchen.

p.s a note about bugs. Anyone that lives in Florida will tell you bugs can be hard to keep out of their homes or motels for that matter because of the humid climate. Even in the best of homes and motels a bug may be seen ocasssionaly in spite of a regular bug spraying program. They can ride in on your shoes and you not know it. No biggie really, just sweep him back outside, LOL.

I think you may have to stay in Orlando to garnish all those amenities. How old are the women? I have no bugs. Or you could check out the Daytona Beach Shores Resort and Spa. I think they have/don%26#39;t have all the things on your list.

We%26#39;re old - we%26#39;re in our 40%26#39;s, lol!

I will only stay at the Hilton. We live really close but like to party and a hotel is cheaper than a dui so have tried several better hotels and always go back to the Hilton. Safe, clean, comfy and good value.
