This post is targeted for Advisor Girl or any local of South Beach who can give experienced advice. Its a bit of an urgent issue as well. I am heading over to South Beach pre-cruise with my girlfriend for 1/9-1/10. We already have plans on which restaurants to go for dinner and are just looking for maybe a lounge to hang out in after dinner to have a few drinks. I remember reading a lot of great advice in the past about lounges but I can seem to remember them. We%26#39;re not looking for anything very club like (for example Pearl). As much as we love Pearl, last time we were there on a weekend it was crazy packed and the lines were very long. I referring more to laid back lounges, and I believe a one of the ones I remember was a lounge in the Social Hotel? Not sure. In any case, any lounge ideas which are fun to be at but at the same time not congested with millions of people would be much appreciated. Were also in our 20%26#39;s, so it would be great if the suggested lounges didn%26#39;t make us feel out of place. I hope I didnt ramble on too long and again any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, as always!
Great South Beach Lounges...
Perhaps the Florida Room @ the Delano Hotel or Sky Bar @ the Shore Club.
Great South Beach Lounges...
Hi again senunit and Happy New Year!!
Social Miami closed. Nearby and still kicking is indeed Florida Room so definitely check that out - pricey but cool. To the north in the new Gansevoort (spins off NYC) is the rooftop lounge Plunge. Also nearby is Mokai which is fun late and the large lounge AeroBar.
To the south in the club district, check out Bella Rose on 15th off Washington, or HedKandi a new trendy spot near Cameo.
Hope your cruise is a big success!
Please post a trip report when you get home -

HAPPY NEW YEAR, ALL THE BEST!!!
Thank you again!
Hi again! We have decided on Plunge, Skybar or Florida Room. We%26#39;ll probably be going to two of the three. Theres one more question I have pertaining to this topic. Is it essential to make reservations to any of these three locations? Thanks again!
