disney no smoking policy?

When it says it is a smoke free resort I know that you can not smoke in the rooms but waht about your balcony? I have a friend that smokes and want to know for her. We are staying at Shades of Green. Thanks

My understanding is that Shades of Green is a Non-Smoking Resort. There is no smoking anywhere inside or outside.

The Official Disney Resorts no longer have Smoking Rooms but you are still allowed to smoke on the Property in designated areas.

Thank you for the reply. I know when I stayed there before it was a Navy function and everyone was smoking outside.

Shades of Green is a totally smoke-free resort, so no smoking is allowed anywhere on the resort grounds.

You can smoke on your balcony, ashtrays are there for you to use.

You cannot smoke anywhere at the hotels-balcony or otherwise. And Disney charges $500 for the cleaning fee. There are designated smoking areas at each resort though

Shades of Green bans smoking inside or our throughout the entire resort. Disney resorts have speficied smoking areas, smoking is forbidden everywhere else, including guestrooms, balconies, and pool areas.

well, geezz, guess all of us were smoking illegally. We have another function coming up soon, guess we all should not have been lighting up but no one said a word.

If you weresmoking in your room or balcony,yes,you are smoking illegally-whether anyone said a word or not-and Disney may still charge you $500 cleaning fee!

We%26#39;ve just returned fm POR (Port Orleans Riverside - a disney hotel) and there were people smoking around the grounds everywhere, to the point where I thought it must be a smoking resort!!!! lol

Also in the parks, there are loads of areas you can smoke, I know I kept walking into them all the time, really hate smoke so knew when i%26#39;d done it again!!!

When you have a group as big as ours of active duty military I really think they must look the other way. We were there in March and yes we also saw people smoking. I washed the ashtray that was on the balcony and cleaned up but many were smoking in our group outside of the banquet room.
