please help

me and my fiance are going to stay at the royal celebration inn at lake Cecile which is located at 4944 W Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy. I noticed that there is a target near by, but I was wondering if we would be able to walk across W Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy. we cant rent a car because none of us can drive. Does any one know if it is possible to walk? Also anyone who is familiar with the area know any other places/shops we should visit that is walking distance from the hotel. if not walkable how much would a cab cost?

please help

Have you tried using google maps and the street view option?

Or google earth, you should be able to see is there are paths to walk along.

If you search for google street view it will come up can be very handy for looking at a location.

please help

I can%26#39;t say I would recommend that area to a non driver at all. If you booked this thru an agent they don%26#39;t know their stuff and you should complain. There are Lynx buses on 192 though, and I presume up 535 towards Disney.

Where you are is a major intersection. There may well be crossing signals at the lights, but generally no one walks there so they will be very short and you could end up waiting on the median for the next light change (and still having to run). Closer than the Super Target is a Big Publix on that corner. Both means crossing yet another huge road, the 535.

There is a Walmart a few blocks up 535 as well.

All these are very close, so a cab, if you can get one to go such a short distance would be cheap.

Hi

Try this

If you click on birds eye view and hover the camera over your hotel pan to your right, you will see a large shopping area where there is a Publix supermarket and other shops.

It on the corner of a main crossroads

Looks as though it a 5-10 min walk.

All the best

You will be OK using buses to get about and you can cross the street there; it%26#39;s a good enough area. No need for cab fares in the local area unless you are very late or in a serious hurry.

There are two bus services on US192 at this point. Both start at the Osceola Square Mall in the east. Bus 55 runs to a WalMart store a good way to the west (at Four Corners) and bus 56 runs to Disney%26#39;s Transportation %26amp; Ticket Center.

Each service runs a 30-minute frequency (so, in all, 4 buses an hour in each direction) 7 days a week. Last buses on a night are

they leave Osceola Square - 55 at 8.30pm and 56 at 10.45pm

and going towards Osceola Square they pass Old Town (to the west of you) 55 at 9.53pm and 56 at 11.10 pm. So - late enough for most purposes.

You can get a weekly pass for the whole LYNX system for $16 at Riley%26#39;s Gourmet Coffee in the Osceola Square Mall or at a branch of ';Ace Cash Express'; or ';Albertsons'; if you see one of those. Otherwise a one-way ride costs $2 and a day ticket costs $4.50 and you can buy these on the bus (exact fare).

Download and print schedules at www.golynx.com .

You can use buses for evening trips out and for dining; and to/from Disney. You can also get to the Florida Mall (change at Osceola Square onto a 4) and Sea World (56 to Disney then 50) easily.

Getting to Universal (if you intend to do so) will be a very long and tedious trip.

There is a Walmart store about 1km to the north of you on SR535 (walk or taxi).

Tae a look at the Kissimmee ';mile marker'; map for a bit more general geography:

Anywhere else you had in mind??
